Sam Zamor / Design, build, automate

Ideas are cheap. Shipped products aren't.

I turn ambitious product ideas into working software, from interface and design system through front-end delivery and automation.

About

“I'd rather cut a feature than explain it.”
  1. 01

End to end (what I do)

I design the interface, build the front-end, and lately the tooling behind it. No design-to-dev handoff, because I'm usually both.

  2. 02

    Earned taste (why trust me)

Twenty-five years of shipping means I've made most of the mistakes already. The strong opinions I hold now are just the ones that survived being wrong.

  3. 03

    Built for here (why me)

I build for a place, not a persona. Great internet, mediocre local tools, so I make a few of them myself.

Work

Product design, web development, and AI tooling work

Selected client projects, personal products, ecommerce systems, and automation-heavy builds from 25 years of designing and shipping. Where a first-party project file exists, open it for the story, constraints, and build evidence behind the screenshot.

GD / Since 2018

50,000+members and growing

It started as a Discord server. Now designers use it to get better and get hired.

I started GD in January 2018 for graphic designers who wanted useful feedback, a fair shot at paid work, and a way to earn recognition from their peers.

How I work

How I actually work

No framework. Just the loop I run most weeks, and where it usually humbles me.

Got a weird one?

Send me the brief, the impossible constraint, or the idea you can't stop thinking about. I take on a couple of outside projects a year. If it's a good one, tell me.
